Dit kussen heeft en verfijnd bloem- en blad patroon in aubergine en groen tinten. Ontworpen door de bekende Engelse designer William Morris in 1892. De stof die wij gebruikt hebben aan de voorkant van de kussens komt uit de jaren ’70.

Kussens gemaakt van zeer verfijnde vintage Braquenié interieurstof van Pierre Frey. Deze print is een reproductie een prachtig Indiaas design, dat in 1787 op een houten board werd geprint.
Braquenié, het huis dat smaakvol de stijlen van de 18e en 19e eeuw opnieuw bekijkt, biedt een frisse herinterpretatie van het verleden, benadrukt de bijzondere charme van de Franse levenskunst en verdedigt een bepaald idee van decoratie onder geïnformeerde amateurs over de hele wereld.

These 2 cushions are made from the same piece of vintage fabric, Braquenie by Pierre Frey, which makes them different and at the same time a perfect match. Both with soft, off white velor and gold piping.

One of the early William Morris designs; first produced in 1864. An abundance of ripened pomegranates hang from the branches of an overhanging tree, pressed over fine branches in the background to give the design. Fabric: 1978 Sanderson quality linen.

De stof hebben wij in Engeland gekocht van een dame die nog een stuk over had na het maken van gordijnen. Tijdloos ontwerp en prachtige, dikke kwaliteit stof.
