This cushion is made of fabric 'ASHOKA' from the house Braquenié. It is a linen cushion with part of a tree of life embroidered on it. This tree of life depicts a lost paradise rich in flowers and extraordinary leaves. The (hand-embroidered) stitches, together with the tonal colors, provide a unique style. This fabric was recreated on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of Braquenié (1823-2023). We made this cushion from a leftover piece of fabric from an upholstery workshop in Paris.
